The SPLAT!

MarkhantonStudio has produced a design to enhance the entrance area to Mid-Kent College which has received praise by the College Board. 


The scheme seeks to draw on the historical use of the site as a cherry orchard to inform the concept of a cherry splat. The result is a fresh, exciting, colourful, and practical social area with a strong identity for the colleges image.

Highbury Gardens short-listed for further Award

Highbury Gardens has been nominated Development of the Year (Large scheme) at the UK Housing Awards 2012. The award recognises excellence in the housing sector.

Mark Hanton Studio were appointed to provide RIBA work stages A-L to Mansell Special Projects London for the design, detailing and overseeing implementation of all hard and soft external works for the internal public courtyard and private garden areas.

The award ceremony will take place at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane on 27 June 2012
