New play area for Junior School 


markhantonStudio prepare landscape proposals for a new hard and soft play area for Joydens Wood Infant School, Dartford. The scheme forms part of a planning application recently submitted for a new extension block by Judge Architects. 

The proposals will provide hard & natural play areas, together with essential storage, opportunities for growing, and nature studies.


Armstrong Road in Top 50 Social Housing Projects


The completed Golding HomesArmstrong Road, Maidstone development is regarded as one of the top 50 social housing projects (out of 6000 entries) in the UK 2013, as awarded by 'Inside Housing' magazine

markhantonStudio working with PCKO Arhcitects were involved from inception, through planning, and then novated to the D&B contractor to oversee the implementation of the scheme.

Benenden Primary School submission


08.06.2012. After lengthy delays, the Benenden Primary School, Kent application finally gets lodged.

The site lies within a sensitive historic village and AONB location and therefore works involved sensitive hard and soft landscape design solutions, coordination with Ecology and Arboricultural specialists, environmental based Sustainable Urban Drainage proposals, and an in-depth Landscape Character & Visual Impact Assessment.

MarkhantonStudio are working closely with Clague Architects and DHA Planning on this exciting development.
